Shawsett Training & Safety are pleased to announce their appointment as DriverMetrics Representatives in Australia. DriverMetrics® was established in 2005 to enable organisations to benefit from research into driver behaviour conducted at Cranfield University. Today, DriverMetrics® works with hundreds of organisations to deliver an evidence based approach to reducing driver risk. The foundation of the DriverMetrics® approach to reducing road risk is the Driver Risk Index™ – an extensively validated, online behavioural risk assessment. DriverMetrics® offers a range of training interventions designed to mitigate the behavioural risk factors identified, including e-learning, driver workshops and in-car training.
The relationship with DriverMetrics® further enhances Shawsett’s services in the area of Driver Development, and in particular in the area of driver behaviour and risk assessment. Shawsett have been focussing on the influence of driver behaviour and driver risk since 1999, and have developed a range of training options in this area. Our relationship with DriverMetrics® significantly enhances our profile and capability in this area, and we look forward to working with DriverMetrics® to develop a range of tools specifically for the Australian market. DriverMetrics® have had success globally, working with clients such as Unilever, Balfour Beatty & Mercedes-Benz and we look forward to bringing this calibre of product into the Australian market.
