Course Description Course Code
Provide CPR
This course covers all the elements of CPR for the inexperienced or experienced first-aider alike. Participants will receive a Nationally Recognised Certificate on successful completion of the course.This course meets the National Training Unit requirements HLTAID001 Provide CPR.
HLTAID001
Provide basic emergency life support
A one day course that meets the basic first aid needs. Still conducted in small groups and customised to the workplace; achieves a great result.
HLTAID002
Provide first aid
This unit delivers the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. The unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, include community and workplace settings.
HLTAID003
Onsite Simulations and Emergency Scenarios
Practical application of skills and use of equipment in a real setting with simulated injuries and theatre make up – lets you know that you have really learnt something, and what a real situation might be like. All simulations are customised to the workplace and equipment utilised reflects the equipment in the workplace.

Operate Fire Fighting Equipment
A 3 to 4 hour course using state of the art gas fire and rechargeable extinguishers. (Course length depends on numbers)

Area Warden Training
The Area Warden training course has been developed by Shawsett Training with the aim of equipping Evacuation Wardens with the skills required to safely carry out their duties consistent with their responsibilities within the existing Emergency Response and Evacuation Procedures.
