Fire Extinguisher Course

Shawsett Training provides a variety of fire extinguisher training courses
that extend from two-hour introductory courses to full day training seminars
that consider the theory of fire, extinguishing methods and safe procedures
for scene management.
Area / Fire Warden Training
Course Overview:
The Area Warden training course has been developed by Shawsett Training
with the aim of equipping Emergency Control Personnel with the skills
required to safely carry out their duties consistent with their responsibilities
within the existing Emergency Response and Evacuation Procedures. The
course is conducted within the guidelines of Australian Standards AS
3745-1995, with particular attention given to the requirements under
Section 3 – Training.
Course Duration and Conditions:
One day training courses will be conducted on site to allow for practical
familiarisation of evacuation routes and requirements. Courses may be
conducted for groups of up to twelve at a time to allow practical outcomes
to be met. Where possible, courses should be conducted for personnel
with similar responsibilities, e.g. those wardens responsible for first
aid etc. Course format will concentrate on site specific requirements
and general guidelines as listed within the Australian Standard AS3745-1995.
Who Should Attend:
Emergency Control Personnel with responsibilities within any existing
Emergency Response and Evacuation Procedures. |
